Aaah…the new year. Time for setting goals. Time for making plans. And time for change.
Now that I’ve recovered from the holidays, things are pretty much getting back to normal and I am focusing on setting goals and making some changes. One of my goals for January is Winter menu updates. So I am happy to say that I can check that off my list! We have lots of sautée items and several grill and appetizer selections that have changed. Oh, and of course we didn’t forget dessert changes too.
Here is a sneak peek:
- hickory smoked duck breast with winter root vegetable and mustard cream ragout and asian gremolata roasted black cod with green curry cocnut milk broth and sushi rice cake
- grilled natural hanger steak with cardamom spiced creamed spinach and turmeric yuk0n gold potato mash as well as jumbo smoked scallops with chantrelle mushroom, pea and lobster risotto.
- appetizer changes include the house smoked lamb chili with posole and guacamole and the cypress grove truffle tremor cheese salad with celeriac, french lentils, frisee and cabernet vinegar drizzle [look for our new cheese selections in the next couple of weeks].
- two new desserts include our highly regarded chocolate truffles [alba is busy at work with new flavors everyday] and don’t forget the awesome apple gallette with toasted almond gelato and cider reduction. yum!!!!
Oh yeah, don’t forget February 6—our second Chef’s Table will be featuring a beer and cheese tasting. So pull out your notebooks and get ready to learn about beer and cheese pairings. See you there!
