BRINE FOR PORK OR POULTRY
2 gallons water
1 box of kosher salt
1 cup brown sugar
2 (whole) quartered oranges
2 (whole) quartered lemons
4 tablespoons rosemary
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Mix all ingredients in a sauce pot and bring to a boil.
- Use for 24 hours when marinating pork or poultry.

Thank you for this, I have always wanted to try brining my meat before cooking. Can I add some sage or rosemary to this brine?
After this preparation, how big of a pork/brisket /chicken can you add to this?
