So I got to do something totally fun recently. I was asked to be a guest on The Real Life Survival Guide. I’m sure some of you may recognize Bruce Barber [of previous WPLR acclaim]. Well, his NPR show is really interesting. He offers featured tips on real life topics [obviously where the name came from] in money, parenting, cooking, finances, relationships, working, and more. Now, while he is a pretty great guy…he is not an expert in all of these categories. Instead, he asks experts to solve specific problems, offer advice or talk about some favorites.

So I got to share one of my favorite summer recipes…chicken with chipotle barbecue sauce and grilled vegetables. In the episode, I do a cooking demo from start to finish making the BBQ sauce, de-boning the chicken and grilling the vegetables. The neat thing is, I thought I’d post a quick video of the interview, since people only ever hear the episodes on the radio or the website!

So take a look. Make some BBQ. And stay cool this summer!
