Jan was really interested in how much we emphasize local, sustainable ingredients—and how far out of our way we go to bring the Farm to the Table. She also talks about our Farmer’s Market experience on her blog too.

Just a quick post to remind everyone that the Market Menu [MM] officially resumes tomorrow, in tandem with CitySeed’s grand opening of the Downtown Farmer’s Market in front of City Hall.

Thanks for the great support at last night’s final Chef’s Table before the break! We had a great turnout and everyone had a chance to ask CitySeed’s team lots of questions on when the Markets open, the different vendors and their exciting plans for this year.

New Haven Independent was on hand too, helping to tell this great story of buying locally grown and produced foods. Check out their article here.

So we’ll put away our Chef’s Table for the summer season, but don’t worry…the Market Menu will be starting on June 18.  And we’ll make sure we post the weekly menus on our website, so make sure you keep checking the website so you know what we’re serving.
